Lame background aside,... This is Tack the Cobbler (he is a quite adorable hero), theres a whole back story to this poor fellow

First off, he is from the movie Thief and the Cobbler, but the actual full movie was never finished, it was in progress from like 1964- 1993 or something as a side project from the director who did Who framed Roger Rabbit (Richard Williams I think), Time ran out, funds were gone so it was bought out, songs were added, voices, things were cut, blah blah there is more to it but thats the jist, so the original charm was all lost and deemed a flop

Just makes me think of a chocolate factory,..... even though hes a cobbler, and shoes dont really have anything in common with,.... chocolate,.... shoulda made it more gray.... ahwell chocolate ish yummeh

Umm lets see, I was lucky enough to see maybe 5 or 10 minutes on TV maybe like 5 years ago, or more,... and always meant to look it up but never did till after some Disney debate where it flashed in my mind,wondered if it was Disney then decided to find otu what I could then was lucky enough to find the whole movie, all 3 versions apparently

Sad it was never finished...

Yay! Thanks for the link! Man, I had no idea what I was missing...I even put it on my PSP! The only thing from the Miramax version that I missed was the theif's dialog, "And with this...sweetheart, I'm goin' to Disneyland!" as he steals the third ball.
